Summary: Set in a time between 9.21 King of the Damned and 9.23 Do You Believe In Miracles, a dreaming (or is he?) and deeply conflicted Crowley gets to experience his very own version of A Christmas Carol. What happens after that surprises more than just him.

Written for princess_schez for the 2014 CrowleysChristmas fic exchange based on prompt 1. “A Supernatural version of A Christmas Carol, with Crowley as Ebenezer Scrooge, Gavin as Jacob Marley, Cas as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Dean as the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Sam as the Ghost of Christmas Future. Did it actually happen, or did Crowley imbibe on too much of the Winchesters special eggnog? Maybe something based on this pic here:

Synopsis: Dean's sleepwalking, and Sam investigates, discovering the fairy that is supposed to clean the Bat Cave is using Dean in his sleep to do his jobs. A renegotiation of terms of service ensues.

Sign ups/Rules/FAQsI signed up to participate in the SPN/RPS Secret Santa exchange, you should too. Only 1,000 words required...and you might get art or a vid back in return. At first I thought it had to be holiday themed, but nope, I was wrong, that's another thing altogether.

Finally got my Sam/Dean mini bang off to my artist and my beta, pshew! I had a hard time deciding where to end my story, really wrestled with it for quite a while. Hopefully you'll think I ended it in the right place.

And in personal news, my household now includes a 9 month old puppy named Meg. My teenager thought that would be a great name for her, and you know what, so far it suits her. As long as her "you find a cause and you serve it" is me, it will all work out well. Any and all puppy tips are welcome, I've never had such a young dog. Oh, and she's a Corgi/Spaniel mix, from the good ol' SPCA.
