Summary: Sam is seventeen, hiking and pining his way through a case in the Badlands. Hikers keep going missing, ending up separated from their groups, and when their bodies are eventually discovered, it’s like they just laid down and let themselves die. Dean is acting different, and Sam can’t tell if it’s the case, or him, or the college acceptance letter in his backpack.

Summary: Jack has taken off, their mom is still gone, and Dean is spinning out with inaction. Sam suggests a non-dangerous diversion to scavenge through the remains of the British Men of Letters’ trailer for equipment and information. Sam comes across the Brit’s recent research on vampires and Benny’s name pops up.

Pshew! I just finished my Crowley's Xmas Xchange fic for spn_bigpretzel. I really like how it turned out and hope the recipient enjoys it.Now I'm working on the finishing touches of the
spn_j2_xmas pretend boyfriends case-fic I've been thrashing around with for a while now.Anyone up for beta-ing for me?

I'll be offline most of today, but I'm really excited about working with you! The biggest reason I picked your art as one of my top choices was that I had a dream about it the night after I saw it (Thursday) and wrote down what happened when I woke up in the morning, so I have a start on a story already. So I'm super happy that I get to actually work on finishing and writing up the story. It's a dreamy kind of artwork so perhaps it is appropriate to have a dream inspired fic to go along with it....
