Big Bang Reveals

I love this time of the fandom year, there's so much excitement surrounding spn_j2_bigbang. So excited to be paired up with the wonderful artist digitalwave! There's just something about the anticipation of collaborating and seeing what your artist will be inspired to create by the story you wrote, so very much fun.

So here's mine, since so many of you have shared yours:

Rankle & Gall (Sam/Dean, NC-17)
Post Gadreel-reveal, after a month of not really finishing their arguments much less their conversations, Sam and Dean finally do, and get back on the same page so they can deal with the Mark of Cain, the Winchester Way, together. An alternate take on Season 9 with Cain summoning, soul bonding Oz-sourced magical spell casting, much lasagna baking and angsty reunion type schmoop.

Yes I couldn't resist working with all the angst of the first half of season 9, and fixing it to sort my own predilections. Hopefully others will enjoy the way I have Sam and Dean sort themselves out.   So the way I wrote my story, the actual ending of season 9 won't factor in as my story goes off on it's merry AU path from right after "The Purge". Acknowledging ahead of time that I'm already "Jossed" I guess, by design, as I'm watching the ending of this season from between my fingers at this point.

Anyways, I'm so looking forward to immersing myself in reading all the wonderful fics that will be posted for this challenge over the summer.

Your fic was one of the few in the Sam/Dean category that got me really excited! It sounds amazing; it has soul bonding and lasagna so it's bound to be awesome :D
