Hello there! *waves* I followed your example and opened a Dreamwidth account, just in case. You never really know with those Russians, right? ;)

Anyway, do you have any idea how to friend people on here? Because I really want to add all my LJ friends, including you of course! :)

All those slight differences to LJ have me all confused... I can't even figure out how to add a header image to my journal. Do you know how these things work on DW? I just hope LJ will still be around for some time, I'm not quite ready to let go of my first fannish home.

Hey, I'm glad you found me over here. Did you import your friends when you opened your Dreamwidth account? If you did then you go to the "manage circle" page and subscribe to people. I think that's the equivalent of lj-friending. Then they'll be on your reading page when they post which is kind of like the friends page on LJ.
